Implementing SuccessFactors Globally in record time
The client is a global mining corporation with over 24,000 employees in several countries and growing.
Our client wanted to create automated talent review and succession planning processes across five regions. SBE was asked to implement the SAP SuccessFactors Talent Profile and Succession Planning functionality to improve global talent planning capability, as well as to automate and streamline the existing manual processes and documentation. The current manual processes did not provide a real-time, centralized view of global talent in order to proactively analyze and plan for talent needs across all regions.
We brought expertise in human capital, program management, and change management to deliver a full-service solution for the client, providing end-to-end support for the global implementation. We partnered with the client to develop a change management and training strategy utilizing a micro-learning approach. Our team produced three- to five-minute simulations and videos enabling end users to quickly answer their specific questions. The team also provided business and process design expertise in addition to the program management and change management.
The project was delivered on-budget and in only 10 weeks, the fastest SuccessFactors global implementation to date at the client. The talent review and succession process and technology will enable a holistic view of our client’s leadership and employee talent, providing a platform for assessing bench strength, development opportunities, succession, and staffing needed to support the business.
